The Care Leavers Needs Analysis

The primary activity to be developed by project partners will be the Care Leavers Needs Analysis. The aim of the analysis is to assess the needs of young people leaving care, the difficulties and problems they encounter during the transition process and after they leave care and the adequacy of services and providers in meeting and supporting their needs. Of great importance in this analysis is also the need to identify the gaps in service provision and the areas in which these needs remain unmet. The analysis will be based on literature review and on social research methods (such as interviews and focus groups). The end results will be four national reports and a European comparative report on the situation of care leavers across Europe.
