Life Skills Workshops

The Life Skills Workshops are the core and kernel of the “Now What?” project. The aim of the Life Skills Workshops is to reach care leavers in the partner countries and to adequately prepare them so that they successfully pursue an independent life.

During these workshops, 150 care leavers in total will have the opportunity to participate in training sessions, led by experiences trainers, so that they gain the necessary knowledge and skills to pursue an independent and healthy life. The content of the total fifteen (15) Life Skills Workshops, each of which will last for 80 hours, will cover issues which can be challenging when transitioning from a care institution to independence and will complement the After Care Plan which each care leaver will develop with the support of his/her mentor.
