The Life Skills Training Curriculum is one of the most important stages of the “Now What?” project because it will be designed to help prospective careleavers build relationships and develop skills that will strengthen their ability to function well in the community, once they start living on their own.
The Life Skills Training Curriculum, accompanied by relevant teaching and learning educational materials will include essential information to prepare young care leavers lead a healthy and balanced life after they have left the care system. The basic components of this activity are:
- the After Care Life Skills Curriculum,
- the Life Skills Handbook
- the Supplementary learning and training material for students and trainers,
- the Trainers’ Guide
